Complex circulation was the basis for Clavino's Domestic Space. The large ramping system along a steep and tiered site gives the occupant a disorienting journey to a cantilevered end point of circulation. The project is based on the manipulation of ground and through this extreme shaping of the ground plane provoked a unconventional way of designing a domestic space. This designed space is then further examined by had drawing plans, sections, axonometrics, and perspective images. The idea of 'knotted intersections' was a presence in thinking about the unseen network of structural construction and is also exemplified through more detailed drawings of imaginative structural components.
